1013 Prime Lambs met a sound trade with heavy lambs and quality sorts easy to cash whilst light lambs were easier on the week. Lambs sold to 159p for Beltex Crosses from Mr W Nairn, Burnton, New Cumnock. Top price per head was £72 for 58Kg Suffolk’s from CJ Roots, Kilnford Croft, Dumfries. Overall average 140.2p.
