lambs, 446 prime hoggs and 3,379 cast ewes & rams at their weekly
sale at Longtown on Thursday 30th June, 2011.
A smaller show of prime cattle met an outstanding
trade, up 4.5p on the week. Top of 207.5p per kilo for a Limousin
bullock from A. Irving, Toppin Castle who also sold a Blonde d’Aquitaine
bullock at 206.5p and Charolais heifers at 191.5p.
