STORE & BREEDING CATTLE REPORT


The Cumberland & Dumfriesshire Farmers Mart had forward 31 head of store cattle & 24 breeding cattle at their sale on Tuesday 6th January, 2009.

The store cattle sold to a strong trade throughout the sale.  Top was £775 for Belgian Blue bullocks from W K Smith & Co., No 6 Howes, Annan.

All classes of breeders met a sharp trade with the top of £950 for a Limousin cow with heifer calf from Church Style Farm.
