STORE & BREEDING CATTLE REPORT


The Cumberland & Dumfriesshire Farmers Mart P.L.C. had forward 304 head of Store Cattle and Suckler Calves at their fortnightly sale at Longtown on Tuesday 17th August, 2010.

Grazing cattle and forward heifers met another outstanding trade, selling to a top of £865 for a Charolais bullock (14 months) from J.C. & H.A. Charnock, Cumcrook Farm. Blonde d’Aquitaine heifers to £845 and £820 from G. Smith, Campingholm.
