STORE & BREEDING CATTLE REPORT


The Cumberland & Dumfriesshire Farmers Mart held their fortnightly sale at Longtown on Tuesday 5th July, 2011.

A small show of store cattle saw a brisk trade throughout to ensure vendors went home delighted. Top price of £770 (x3) for Shorthorn heifers from Messrs Tinning, Burnfoot. Mr A. Thom, The Mark sold Limousin heifers to £770.
