The Cumberland & Dumfriesshire Farmers Mart held their fortnightly
sale of store cattle at Longtown on Tuesday 6th December, 2011.
A
smaller show of 66 store cattle saw trade up hold recent high rates
and vendors were over the moon with their returns, more numbers required
to forfill buyers orders. Top price was £875 (x2) for Belgian
Blue bullocks from J Irving & Sons, The Stubb and Belgian Blue
heifers to £870 also from The Stubb.
