The Cumberland & Dumfriesshire Farmers Mart had forward 116 Store Cattle at their fortnightly at Longtown on Tuesday 13th March, 2012.

A good show of cattle met a brisk trade especially for plainer cattle. Heifers topped at £1,170 for British Blues from Messrs Vevers, High Plains, with bullocks to £1,130 for Simmentals shown by C.T. & J. Wigham & Sons, Hethermill.
