STORE & BREEDING CATTLE SALE REPORT


The Cumberland & Dumfriesshire Farmers Mart PLC had forward 94 Store Cattle on Tuesday 20th November, 2012.

A mixed show of store cattle with a shortage of strong cattle saw trade dearer on the fortnight. The sale was topped at £955 for a Limousin bullock from Messrs West, New Holme and Limousin heifers sold to £880 from M.P. Tattersall, Enzieholm Farm.

British Blue - £695 (x2), £650 (x3) The Stubb.
Angus - £670 Spadeadam, £650 Whitslade.
Shorthorn - £415 (x11 – 4mths old) Cowcorse.

HEIFERS
Limousin - £880, £730 Enzieholm, £725, £690, £620 Rinnion Hills, £620 Grahamsfield.
British Blue - £770, £660 (x4) The Stubb, £605 (x4) Grahamsfield, £570 (x2) West Craigs.
Angus - £565 The Stubb, £540 (x3) Spadeadam.
