STORE & BREEDING CATTLE SALE REPORT


The Cumberland & Dumfriesshire Farmers Mart PLC had forward 160 Store Cattle and Suckler Calves at their fortnightly sale on Tuesday 19th February, 2013.

Mainly small grazing cattle on offer saw trade maintain late high rates with vendors going home delighted. The sale was topped at £955 for a Limousin heifer shown by Shaw of Dryfe Farming, others to £915 from Mr W. Hodgson, Blindhillbush. Charolais heifers sold to £900 from Borthwick Brae Farms.
