The Cumberland & Dumfriesshire Farmers Mart PLC held their Fortnightly Sale of Store & Breeding Cattle at Longtown on Tuesday 12th November 2013.

A mixed show of quality saw stronger cattle a buoyant trade, with the sale topping at £1125 for an Angus bullock shown by BM & Z Harrison, Clarghyll Farm. Limousins also to £1115 and £1110 from SJG & CP Wood, Hillfield. Limousin heifers sold to £1020 also from Messrs Wood.
