Store hoggs were very dear. Top was £80.20 for North Country Cheviot hoggs from Browtop and £71.20 Thomas Telford. Suffolk x to £75.20 Ryehills, £69.80 Candybank, £69.50 Alderley; Texels £72.50 Highend, £69.80 Longrow; Greyfaces £65.50 Ryehills, £63.80 Blackhouse, £61.50 High End; Blackfaces £55.50 Ashkirktown, £55.20 Lochenkit; Hill Cheviots £58.80 Dodd, £55.50 Haithwaite, £54.50 Sundhope; Swaledales £58.80 Blackhouse; Herdwicks £52.80, £50.20 Rowhead.

Cast ewes to £84.50 Highend. Cast rams to £64.50 Candybank.

Ewes with lambs were a strong trade. Top was £51.50 for Greyface shearlings & twins from Henrys Hill and with singles £51 Drumcork.

Ewes with single – Texels £52.50 Sarkside; Greyfaces £51 Drumcork.

Ewes with twins – Texels £52.50 Sarkside, £49 Priorsford; Greyfaces £43 Raby Grange, £42.50 Brookfield.

Inlamb Cheviot ewes to £59 Candybank. Geld Blackface ewe hogs £60.80 Gall; Greyfaces £58.20 Courance Holm.
