A marvelous show of hoggs with trade very dear.

Top was £85 for Texels from Leadgate, others to £79.50 Lochwood; Suffolks £79.20 Leadgate, £74.80 Moorhouse; Hill Cheviot £70.50 Glen; Greyfaces £64.80 Leadgate, £59.80 Candybank; North Country Cheviot £82.50 Moorhouse; Lleyns £66.80 Artnoch; Blackfaces £57.80 Cacrabank, £57.20 Haithwaite, £57 Surrone; Herdwicks £68.50 Rowhead; Swaledales £49.80 Ladyhousesteads.

Cast rams £79.50 Lochwood. Cast ewes £85 Leadgate.

Ewes & lambs were a larger entry with trade buoyant.
