The store hoggs trade was still buoyant with the top being £80.80 for North Country Cheviot hoggs from Browtop; Texels £76.20 Borthaugh, £74.50 Candybank; Suffolks £68.80 Haithwaite; Greyfaces £71.20 Bankshead; Hill Cheviots £65.50 Candybank; Blackfaces £66.50, £59.50 Candybank; Beltex £60.80 Candybank; Masham £52.80 Jury; Herdwicks £47.50 Haithwaite; Shetland £39.20 Candybank.
Cast ewes to £48.20 Castlefearn and cast rams to £44.50 Candybank.

Ewes with lambs saw more numbers forward with trade still as dear. Top was £68 for Texel ewe with single from Allerley; Greyfaces £55, £53 Drumcork, £51 Henrys Hill; Suffolk x £49 Crossgate; Blackface £44 Allensgreen; Swaledale £33.50 Whitehaugh; Zwartbles £47.50 Thimbles; Hill Cheviot £40 Raby Grange.

Ewes with twins to £66, £62 for Texels from Allerley; Greyfaces £47 Newlands, Bateyshield & Pennine View; Suffolk x £57 Crossgates; Hill Cheviot £38 Raby Grange; Blackfaces £39 Allensgreen; Swaledales £33.50 Whitehaugh.

Shearlings with singles to £63 for Greyfaces from Drumcork; Texels £55 Bellmount, £52 Drumcork.
