A good show met another excellent trade to a top of £58 for Suffolk crosses from Margaret Drive and Bayles, others £56.80 Nook, £55 Binks and High Loveladay Shield; Texel £55.20 Black House and Margaret Drive, £55 Softley, £54.80 Wanwood Hill; Greyface £52 Greensburn, £47.50 Wester Alemoor, £47 Laverhay and High Lovelady Shield; Cheviot Mule £49.50 Carterton; Cheviot £47 Bayles; Blackface £41.50 Sewing Shields, £38.80 Dunshiel, £35 Auchengruith. Cast ewes to £67.50 West Alemoor. Cast rams to £140 Upper Ashtrees.
