STORE & BREEDING SHEEP REPORT


The Cumberland & Dumfriesshire Farmers Mart had forward 3,695 Store Lambs at their Weekly Sale at Longtown on Tuesday 30th August, 2011.

Stores were a similar show, all classes easily maintained late high rates.

Top of £74 and £72 for Texels from Aldery Terrace; Suffolk £69 Whitedyke, £67 Cowcorse & High Lovelady Shield; North Country Cheviot £61 Nisbet, £59 Meikle Whitriggs; Greyface £61 Rotherhope, £58 Taylorburn & Bayles; Hill Cheviot £59 Gillesbie Farms; Blackface £55 Parkhouse, £54.50 Auchengruith, £52 Dalveen, £51.50 Crindledykes; Lleyn £52.20 Templand.
