LONGTOWN MART POULTRY SALE

The Cumberland & Dumfriesshire Farmers Mart PLC held their Summer sale of Cage Birds, Poultry & Waterfowl, Hatching Eggs and Equipment at Longtown on Saturday 10th August, 2013, where there was a large turnout of poultry, equipment and cage birds. All poultry and caged birds sold well, with many prices well exceeding vendors expectations.

This day also saw a dispersal sale of Miniature Shetland Ponies on behalf of DA Gass, The Lynns which sold tremendously well to a top of £360 on three occasions, firstly for a mare and foal, secondly for a served mare and thirdly for a yearling filly.
