Cumberland & Dumfriesshire Farmers Mart were kindly favoured with the Displenishing sale at Whiteyard, Lochfoot, Dumfries on behalf of H & E Hulland.

A large turnout of both friends and customers from as far afield as Hereford to Forfar were in attendance. All stock was shown in good bloom and a most satisfactory trade prevailed.

Limousin cows with bull calves to £1350, £1280 and £1240, Limousin heifers in calf to £860 and £800, Pre. 1996 cows with calves £750 and £700

Store cattle yearling bullocks to £575, Heifers to £500.

Breeding sheep – Texel ewes (1/2 crop) to £85 and £81, (3 crop) to £63, (4 crop) to £49

Store lambs Texel to £42.
