| The Cumberland & Dumfriesshire Farmers Mart had forward 146 head
            of store cattle and 32 breeding cattle at their sale on Tuesday
            9th December 2008.
 Store cattle met a flying trade with a packed ringside
            of buyers which ensured that vendors went home very happy. Top was £720
            for a Charolais steer from Messrs Telford, Highparkfoot with heifers
            selling to £630 for a Charolais from Messrs Forster, Gillalees. PRINCIPAL
