C & D Auctions ltd held their annual show and sale of Rams in Dumfries which included a show of Suffolk Rams on behalf of the West and Central Suffolk Sheep club kindly sponsored by Scotmin and ably judged by Sandy McDowall, Culquhasen who found his champion with a ram lamb from M/s Buchannan, Pretts Mill selling at £550 with others to £250 Prettsmill, £250 Calf Park, £220 Netherhall.

All other breeds were keenly sought after by the large ringside attendance.
Best Texel from RM Johnstone, Boghouse to £520
Any other breed won with Charollais from Maryholm making £320.

The firm also held their annual sale of Blue Faced Leicester Rams which met strong demand selling to £820 from T W Hamilton & son, Kirkton of Crawford.

C & D Auctions Ltd also held their weekly sale of store lambs and 3rd Sale of Scotch Mule Ewe Lambs in Dumfries.
Scotch mule ewe lambs met a very sharp trade with buyers needs exceeding supply to average £78.18.
