142 Heads forward for the Special Sale of Breeding Cattle in Dumfries on Monday which included the reduction Sale from Mrs M Grierson, Shambellie Grange, New Abbey. A decent crowd was present and all classes in the main were well bid for.

The days top price of £1820 was paid for a Hereford x Cow with Twin Angus Bull Calves from Shambellie Grange. The Stock Cows & Calves averaged £1064.36.
