Store hoggs again were dear to a top of £74.50 for North Country Cheviots from Greenhead. Texels £73.50 Moorhouse; Suffolks £72.50 Moorhouse; Hill Cheviots £51.50 Priesthaugh, £47.80 Castlehill; Halfbreds £68.50 Adderstonshiels; Charollais £62.80 Cottage Farm; Greyfaces £57.20 Leahaugh; Blackfaces £45.20 Ronald, £44.80 Cavers Mains; Swaledales £37.70 Moffat Cottage.

Breeding sheep were a large show with trade very good. Inlamb ewes to £81, £80 for Texel crosses from Easttown, others to £75 The Ash; Greyfaces £78, £77 The Ash, £76, £75, £74 Smithy Cottage; Hill Cheviots £57 Priesthaugh.

Ewes with lambs sold to £48 each for Texels with singles from Brookfield; Greyfaces £45 Drumcork, £44 Brookfield, who also sold Suffolk x at £44.50; Roussins £43.50 Brookfield; Charollais £41 Brookfield.

Ewes with twins to £43 each for Texels from Brookfield; Greyfaces £40.50 Drumcork, £40 Brookfield.
