Store hoggs saw trade again very dear, top of £86.50 for Texels from Greenbeck, others £81.50 Dinwoodie Green, £80 Nether Dargarvel; Rouge £76.50 Dinwoodie Green; Greyface £70.80 Embley, £70 Bayles; Suffolk £70.80 Bayles; Hill Cheviot £69.50 Beechgrove, £69 Dinley; Charollais £69.20 Bayles; Easycare £66.20 Glenapp; Blackface £65.50 Whiteside, £62.50 Brownhill; Lleyn £64.50 Chipknowe; Swaledale £53.50 Brookfield. Cast ewes to £91 for Texels from Channel Well, hill types £55.50 Winshield, cast rams £91 Linton.

In lambers met a keen enquiry and were easily cleared at similar rates. Top of £155 for Texels from Baltier, others £140 Greenknowe; Suffolk cross £135 Margaret Drive; Lleyn £135 Margaret Drive; Greyface £132, £130 (x2) Margaret Drive; Cheviot Mule £108 Eycott. In lamb Greyface hoggs to £125 and £120 Howe Nook.
