Longtown Store & Breeding Sheep Sale Report

The Cumberland & Dumfriesshire Farmers’ Mart plc had forward 712 head of ewes and hoggs with lambs at foot at their weekly sale at Longtown on Tuesday 9th June 2015.

The best show of sheep for a few weeks attracted a good ring of purchasers, all classes were again easily sold to late high rates.  Top of £100 for Texel hoggs with singles from Messrs Browell, Quarry House.
