Longtown Store Sheep Sale Report

C&D Auction Marts Ltd had forward 3,453 store lambs at their weekly sale at Longtown on Tuesday 7^th August 2018.

Another good show of lambs with best quality very easy to sell at last week’s rate. However smaller lambs would be easier on the week.

Top price of the day was £82 & £79.50 for Texels from Chapel House, £79 Ridley, £78.50 Felton Demesne; Suffolk £80 Felton Demesne, £75 Binks; Charollais £70.50 Monk; Beltex £70 Whitstonehill; Greyface £69 Crindledykes, £60 High Airyolland; Cheviot Mule £66 Hownam Grange, £62 Gillesbie.
