C&D Auctions held their weekly sale of Prime Sheep in Dumfries on Wednesday 10th September 2025.

Prime lambs maintained recent levels selling to £160 from Wilson, Newmains and to 316p/kg from Ewart, Belridding. Sale average 299.68p/kg. Cast ewes continue to be well bid although slightly easier on the week.

47 Lambs (32.1kg-39kg) averaged 288.56p/kg and topped at 310p/kg from Slaven, Foregirth
