C&D Auctions Ltd held their fortnightly sale of OTM & Prime Cattle in Dumfries on Monday 18th August 2025.

Another strong ringside of buyers in attendance all seeking cattle. Beef cows to 358p/kg from Bell, Cormaddie and to £2774 from Young, High Townhead to average 285.74p/kg. Dairy cows to 285p/kg and £2223 from Wadsworth Farming Ltd, Big Balcraig  to average 226.3p/kg. Bulls to 260p/kg and £2717 from Crawford, Blarghour to average 215.68p/kg.

Prime cattle to 425p/kg purchased by regular buyers R Johnstone & Sons, Annan from Jardine, Yett.
