C&D Auctions Ltd held their fortnightly sale of 120 OTM & Prime Cattle in Dumfries. OTM’s again sold easily with more feeding types forward. Beef Cows to £2897.75 and to 358p/kg from McKie, High Threave. Dairy Cows to £2091 from Dunlop, Searigg and to 270p/kg from Gemmell, Brownfield. Bulls to £2516 and to 370p/kg from Paterson, Hartbush.
Prime Cattle to 445p/kg from Jardine, Yett to R Johnstone & Sons Butchers, Annan.
