C&D Auctions Ltd held their Opening sale of OTM and Prime Cattle in Dumfries on Monday 12th January 2026.

80 forward, plenty of Buyers in attendance, all keen to purchase OTM’s of all classes. Beef Cows averaged 287p/kg to 360p/kg from Paterson, Hartbush and Mair, Meikleholm and to £2482 from Paterson, Hartbush. Dairy Cows averaged 224p/kg to 290p/kg and £2552 from Kincaid, Slacks. Bulls to 250p/kg and £2975 from Taylor, Fingland.

Prime Cattle to 442p/kg from Jardine, Yett to Johnstone & Sons Butchers, Annan.
