Dumfries Store Cattle Report – 09 March 2026

C&D Auction Marts Ltd held their fortnightly sale of Store Cattle at Dumfries. Strong entry of quality store cattle forward met with large returns. £2280 was top price today from Temple, Wyliehole for a pair of Limousin cross bullocks. Heifers reached £2120 again from Temple, Wyliehole for a Limousin heifer. Ewart, Belridding reached £2160 for a 470kg Limousin cross Bull. Ewart, Belridding also topped the pence per kilo at 501.2p/kg for a stunning pen of 7 bullocks.

Bullocks average 408.5p/kg to 501.2p/kg from Ewart, Belridding and to £2280 from Temple, Wyliehole.

Heifers average 382.7p/kg to 439.5p/kg from Bell, Cormaddie and to £2120 from Temple, Wyliehole.

Bulls average 333.3p/kg to 459.6p/kg from Ewart, Belridding and to £2160 from Ewart, Belridding.
