Dumfries OTM & Prime Cattle Report – 06 April 2026
C&D Auction Marts Ltd held their fortnightly sale of OTM and Prime Cattle at Dumfries. All classes sharper with greater numbers needed at each sale to fulfil growing ringside of active buyers in attendance.
Beef Cows average 290.6p/kg to 358p/kg from Robson, Laverock Hall and to £2667.10 from Fitzsimon, Tregallon.
Dairy Cows average 240.5p/kg to 285p/kg from McLean, Kilmaho and to £2502.60 from Murray, Conheath.
Prime Cattle easily sold to 448p/kg from Jardine, Yett to R Johnstone & Sos Butchers of Annan. Others to 430p/kg from Yett to RM Helliwell. Simmental Bullocks to 378p/kg from McClanchan, Oxgang.
