C&D Auction Marts Ltd held their fortnightly sale of OTM and Prime Cattle at Dumfries. Buyers seeking all classes of OTMs with trade remaining firm with grazing sorts easily sold.
Beef Cows average 268p/kg to 320p/kg from KMB Farmers, Ardlamy and to £2968 from Herries Farms, Lantonside.
Dairy Cows average 211.7p/kg to 280p/kg from Currie, Barndennoch and to £2295 from Murray, Conheath.
Bulls average 284p/kg to 310p/kg and to £3038 from Paterson, Hartbush
Prime Heifers to 430p/kg and 402p/kg from Jardine, Yett to R Johnstone & Sons Butchers, Annan and to M Helliwell.
