C&D Auction Marts Ltd held their weekly sale of Prime Sheep in Dumfries. A small show was presented which met good trade. Spring Lambs (SQQ 440.4p/kg) and overall 439.8p/kg. Prime Hoggs (SQQ 328.3p/kg) and overall 334.8p/kg. Cast Ewes and Rams topped today with a Cross Ewe from Sloan, Backburn at £196.

Lambs (39.1-45.5kg) averaged 440.4p/kg and topped at 458p/kg from Neill, Upper Tinwald
