Dumfries Store Cattle Report – 01 June 2026

C&D Auction Marts Ltd held their fortnightly sale of Store Cattle at Dumfries. A smaller show of 150 head was presented to a strong turnout of ringside Buyers. Trade easily upheld recent values.

Goldie, Greenfield made the long journey from Ruthwell to top the days trading at £2400 with Charolais cross Heifers. Limousin cross Heifers from Mair, Meikleholm realised 438p/kg. Heifers averaged 375p/kg.

Bullocks sold to £2300 from Glendinning, Crawesknowe and to 445p/kg for Limousin cross Bullocks from Hyslop, Maryfield Lochmaben. Bullocks averaged 381p/kg

Bulls to £1690 and 504.5p/kg for Limousins from Wyllie, Newmains.
