Dumfries Calf Report – 15 June 2026
C&D Auction Marts Ltd held their fortnightly sale of Rearing Calves at Dumfries on Monday. Again selling to a keen ringside of buyers with a total clearance effected. The sale was topped by a strong Aberdeen Angus cross bull calf from D.R. Sloan and Son, Kirktonfield Farm, Kirkton, Dumfries which sold for £890.00. Others forward were mainly one/two months of age and these were all well sold.
Principal prices:-
Aberdeen Angus cross bull calves to £890.00;
British Blue cross bull calves to £730.00;
Holstein bull calves to £440.00;
Inra-95 cross bull calves to £430.00
