C & D Auction Marts held their weekly sale of Breeding Sheep at Longtown on Tuesday 23rd June

Smaller show forward on the week, for the final sale of the season. With many buyers round the ring going home empty handed. Topping the sale at £180 per life was a pen of mule 2&3 shear ewes from J Browell, Quarry House, who’s consignment averaged £170.61.
