C&D Auction Marts Ltd held their fortnightly sale of 200 Store Cattle at Dumfries. No shortage of Buyers ringside with trade easily maintaining recent values. Bullocks topped at £2240 from Duncanson of Marchbank, Beattock and to 507.1p/kg from McRae of Grassfield, Kintyre. Average for the Bullocks was 383p/kg. Heifers to £2000 from Crichton, Nether Locharwoods and to 491.8p/kg from McRae of Grassfield, Kintyre. Average for the Heifers 367p/kg
