Dumfries Store Cattle Report – 10 August 2026

C&D Auction Marts Ltd held their fortnightly sale of 470 Store Cattle at Dumfries. A powerful ringside of Buyers were in attendance with all classes meeting a pleasing trade. Ramsay, Dunbae sold Simmental cross Bullocks at the days top price of £2360 with Limousin Bullocks from Herries Farms, Lantonside realising 453p/kg. Heifers topped at £2340 for Hererfords from Kerr, Fagra and to 425.3p/kg for Limousins from Ewart, Belridding. Bulls to £1640 from McBryde, Lochbank and to 400p/kg.
