Dumfries OTM & Prime Cattle Report – 24 August 2026

C&D Auction Marts Ltd held their fortnightly sale of OTM and Prime Cattle at Dumfries. Cows met strong competitive prices. All purchasers present and hungry for Cattle. Black and White topped at £2405 from Murray, Conheath and Beef Cows topping at £2286.90 from TS Farming, Rigghead. Murry Conheath topped p/kg at 260p/kg and Braid, Leithanhall was up to 250p/kg. Cast Bulls topped at 240p/kg from Hyslop, West Lanegate.

Prime cattle to 420p/kg from Jardine, Yett to R Johnstone & Son Butchers, Annan and to 390p/kg to M Helliwell.
