Dumfries Calf Report – 24 August 2026

C&D Auction Marts Ltd held their fortnightly sale of Rearing Calves at Dumfries. Calves were dear. £780 was achieved on 3 occasions from Dick, Lochmailing for Angus Calves. Milk Calves were astronomical with week old calves achieving £525 from Torr Organics. Belted Galloway Heifers seen £460 again from Torr Organics. Normandy Calves achieved £320 for 3 week old from Grains Farm.

Bull Principal prices:- 

Aberdeen Angus – £780(x3) & £700 Lochmailing

Belted Galloway – £440 Torr

Heifer Principal prices:-

Aberdeen Angus – £700(x2) & £690(x2) Lochmailing

Belted Galloway – £460 Torr
