C&D Auction Marts Ltd held their weekly sale of Prime Sheep in Dumfries. 1003 Prime Lambs; Heavyweights met plenty of demand selling to £199 for Texels from Mair, Meikleholm and to 354p/kg from Maxwell Farming, Druidhall.

443 Cast Ewes and Rams; Trade increased on the week. Texel Ewes topped at £242 from Dean, Boreland of Kelton.

With demand remaining strong we are seeking increased weekly entries of Prime Lambs, Cast Ewes and Rams.
