C&D Auction Marts Ltd held their weekly sale of Prime Sheep in Dumfries. 1211 Prime Lambs; with new customers in attendance. All classes met a strong trade. Lambs topped at £186 with Suffolks from Harkness, Netherhall with Beltex Lambs from first time seller Campbell, Glenstockadale Several realising 380p/kg.
467 Cast Ewes and Rams met plenty of competition with well fleshed Ewes being wanted. Topping trade today was a Texel Ewe from Quigley, Craigielands Hill reaching £215
