Longtown Store Sheep Wed 16 Sept 26

C & D Auction Marts held their weekly sale of 7,820 store lambs and feeding ewes at Longtown on Wednesday 16th September 2026.

A much larger show of store lambs forward on the week sold to a ringside full of buyers. Trade dearer on the week especially the longer-term lambs as purchasers start to travel from up and down the country on the hunt for numbers.

Included in today’s sale was the prize show and sale of Cheviot store lambs, with the judging in the capable hands of Mr Rob Carrick who awarded the prizes as follows:
