Dumfries OTM & Prime Cattle Report – 21 September 2026
C&D Auction Marts Ltd held their fortnightly sale of OTM and Prime Cattle at Dumfries. 140 Cows forward today with once again new vendors coming forward to take full advantage of the fierce, competitive buying power in Dumfries.
Plenty of Beef Cows forward today topping at £2,878.50 from Fitzsimon, Tregallon. Limousin Cows achieved £2,574 from Conheath and Stabilisers topped at £2,409 from Greenshields, Southmains. 312p/kg was achieved twice today by Morton, Grennan and Murray, Conheath for Limousin Cows and 285p/kg for a Simmental from Fitzsimon, Tregallon. Lindsay, Culnaightrie was up to 280p/kg for an Aberdeen Angus Cow.
Dairy Cows topped at £2,265.75 from Kincaid, Slacks and Holsteins were up to £2,058.70 again from Kincaid, Slacks. 295p/kg was achieved by Slacks again and Holsteins topped at 270p/kg from Gemmell, Brownfield.
