Longtown Store Sheep Tues 29 Sept 26
C & D Auction Marts held their weekly sale of 6,926 store lambs at Longtown on Tuesday 29th September 2026.
A slightly smaller show on offer today with all classes dearer on the week with many more purchasers appearing around ringside, looking for numbers. A shortage of short keep lambs on offer as majority show consisting of hill bred long keep lambs.
Topping the sale was a pen of Texel lambs from Thomas Wade, Butter Well realising £170.
