Dumfries Calf Report – 02 November 2026
C&D Auction Marts Ltd held their fortnightly sale of Rearing Calves at Dumfries. Calves were dearer on the fortnight. £840 was achieved from Hutton, Buittle Mains for a Hereford Bull Calf and £600 again for a Hereford Heifer Calf. Jackson, Guillyhill sold Aberdeen Angus Calves to £440 and Fingland, Tarbreoch sold Black & Whites to £560.

Aberdeen Angus – £440, £420, £380 & £360 Guillyhill, £320 Ryemuir
Limousin – £300 Ryemuir
