C&D Auctions were favoured by John Douglas and Family to hold there Annual sale of Rams at Mains of Airies, Ervie-Kirkcom, Stranraer on Thursday 18th September 2025.

Airies Texel

Trade reflected the huge attendance of both ringside and online buyers who were attracted by the grass fed, natural reared rams on offer. All Rams easily finding new homes. The sale was topped at £2000 for an Airies Falcon sired shearling which headed to Pilmuir, Hawick in the Scottish Borders. Other prices £1750 (x2), £1700 (x3), £1650, £1500, £1400, £1350, £1300. Rams averaged £1084.62.

Females met keen competition Texel x Romney Gimmers to £270 and Texel x Romney Ewe Lambs to £235.

Next Friday (26th) they will have their 4th Annual Flock Production Sale of Texel Stock Ewes and Gimmers at Dumfries Mart. Sale starts at 1pm online bidding available on MartEye.
