Airies Ram Sale – 17 September 2026

C&D Auctions conducted the Annual Airies Texel Sale at Mains of Airies, Kirkcom, Stranraer on behalf of the Douglas Family. A catalogued entry of 46 Shearling Rams and 87 Texel cross Romney Ewe Lambs were presented to an active ringside of Buyers along with Online Bidding Via MartEye. A pleasing trade was ensued.

Naturally shown and grass fed selling to £1600 for Airies Hurricane purchased by Wigtownshire famers Hutchinson, Low Mains. £1500 was realised for Airies Hero purchased by Sproat, Lennox Plunton. Another Hero sired Shearling then sold at £1400 to Baillie, Low Glasnick. £1150 was paid by Hall, Craiglearen for Airies Hero sired Shearling. With a 100% clearance there was Rams to suit every bodies pockets levelling at £887.84.

Texel cross Romney Ewe Lambs topped at £230.00

Next Friday (25th) they will have their 5th Annual Flock Production Sale of Texel Stock Ewes and Gimmers at Dumfries Mart. Sale starts at 1pm online bidding available on MartEye.
