Dumfries Calf Report – 18 May 2026
C&D Auction Marts Ltd held their fortnightly sale of Rearing Calves at Dumfries. A top quality show of predominately milk calves forward. With a huge demand for all classes. Two week old British Blue Claves topped at £540 from first time consigner Callander, Crofthead. Five sweet two week old British Blue Heifer Calves topped at £490 again from Callander, Crofthead. Another first time consigner Paton, Torrs was up to £510 for Belted Galloway Bulls and £500 for Beef Shorthorn Bulls. First time consigner Goddard, West Logan was up to £440 for a fantastic Beef Shorthorn Heifer. Stewart, Smallholmburn was up to £490 for Holstein Friesian Bulls. Huge demand for all classes of calves with all volumes and breeds being handled with ease.
