Dumfries Calf Report – 20 April 2026

C&D Auction Marts Ltd held their fortnightly sale of Rearing Calves at Dumfries. There was a good show of 65 predominantly young calves forward selling to a keen ringside of buyers and a brisk trade ensued with a total clearance effected. The sale was topped by a young Hereford cross bull calf from Kyle Farm Partnership which sold for £600.00.

Young Hereford cross bull calves to £600.00 and £580.00, twice

Young Friesian bull claves to £250

Young Brown Swiss bull calves to £230.00

Young Norwegian Red cross bull calves to £220.00

Young Hereford cross heifer calves to £510.00, twice and £490.00, 4 times
