Dumfries Calf Report – 27 July 2026
C&D Auction Marts Ltd held their fortnightly sale of Rearing Calves at Dumfries. A rip roar trade today for a smaller show. Jersey cross Aberdeen Angus Bulls and Heifers topped at £800 from Dick, Lochmailing. They also achieved £700 & £660 easily. Black and Whites still on milk at one month old making £330 from Sloan of Ryemuir, Lochmaben. Kennedy Chapelcroft achieving again at one month old with Black and Whites £320 to £300 with ease.

Aberdeen Angus – £800 Lochmailing
Holstein – £330 Ryemuir, £320 & £300 (x2) Chapelcroft
Heifer Calf Principal prices:-
Aberdeen Angus – £800, £700 & £660 Lochmailing
